Keith was born in Wareham, MA, the "gateway to Cape Cod," to a working-class family. From an early age, Keith’s parents instilled the values of hard work and thrift. Keith began working at the age of 13, and his work experiences have been just as educational and valuable as any class he took in school.

Keith spent his high school years balancing school, work, and his passion for music by playing shows across the country with 3 different bands. Keith became the first person in his family to attend college, enrolling in UMASS Dartmouth as a commuter student with a Pell Grant. He saved money by living at home while working various jobs, including as a gas station clerk, forklift driver, and customer service representative.

Keith completed a BA in Economics with a minor in Political Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and as a member of the Economics Honor Society.

As a first-generation college student with limited resources, Keith worked hard to maintain a high GPA while working nearly full-time. He was able to secure a job as a Customer Service Representative for Siemens Healthcare during the height of the 2008 financial crisis.

This role evolved into IT work, where Keith has served as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Portfolio Manager over the past 15 years. Keith has held Senior Manager and Associate-Director level positions at 3 large pharmaceutical companies and is currently working remotely as an Associate Director level Portfolio Manager. In this role, Keith oversees the planning and execution of dozens of projects with millions in budget, the planning and forecasting of a complex department budget, and manages a skilled team of Project Managers.

Keith leveraged his employers' tuition reimbursement program to earn a part-time MBA from UMASS Amherst in 2015, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Keith’s younger years were shaped by hard work, high standards, and thriftiness. At work, Keith excels at listening to his colleagues and collaborating with them to deliver impactful technologies that improve their processes and ways of working. Keith has knack for developing big visions and breaking them down into actionable strategies and tactics for execution.

Keith is passionate about his career, but even more passionate about his family. He has been married for 10 years, and has 3 daughters. Keith is tremendously inspired by his partner Emily’s devotion to the community in Worcester. One of his motivations for running for City Council is to show his daughters the importance of community engagement, and that pursuit of a better world starts with acting locally.

A recent performance review at work highlighted Keith’s integrity, passion, collaboration, and ability to consistently challenge the status quo to foster a respectful, solution-focused environment.

Keith will bring these same values and abilities to City Hall.
